In the early hours of today, the Zone 13 Nigeria Police Headquarters at Ukpo In Anambra State was attacked by some gunmen killing two policemen, Inspector Ishaku Aura and Uzoma Uwaebuka
Some of the offices and scores of vehicles during the attack but were stopped from gaining access into the armory. This happened few days after the April 5 attack on the police headquarters and the correctional center in Owerri, Imo State, where 38 vehicles were burnt and about 1,844 inmates freed.
This is what appears to be a growing trend, attacks against security personnel in the South-East region of Nigeria is alarming.
With this development many Nigerians have a lot of questions about their safety.
