The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) as of 17th of April 2021 had registered a total of 130,749 candidates for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Ex­amination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) examinations.

On Thursday, 8th April the board announced the start of registration for the 2021 UTME/DE and set the deadline for Saturday, May 15, 2021.

The recent jamb bulletin according to the board, 130, 749 candidates from 36 states of the Federation, including Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory has registered for the review.

Kaduna State took the lead with 17, 494 candidates, followed by Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. According to the table, as of Sunday, April 17th, 2021, Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja had 14,628 and 12,319 total registered candidates. Furthermore, Sokoto, Bayelsa, Zamfara, and Ebonyi States were at the bottom of the table with the numbers 63, 491, 597 and 927, respectively
