It was a huge tragedy that came with the announcement of Mondale’s death on Monday. The current Vice President, Kamala Harris said in a statement that her predecessor “led an extraordinary life of service.”
Harris also described Mondale as one who was “so generous with his wit and wisdom over the years.” he died at the age of 93.
She prayed that God grants him rest and comforts his family as they are still yet to find out the cause of his death.

Mondale was a great friend and the best Vice President America ever had described by the former US President, Jimmy Carter who Mondale served under as a Vice President. “Today, I mourn the passing of my dear friend, Walter Mondale, who I consider the best vice president in our country’s history. May God grant him rest and comfort the family he left behind.” he said.
Before his death, Mondale served as vice president under Jimmy Carter from 1977 to 1981.
He also served as an Ambassador to Japan between the years 1993 and 1996.
