In another development, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on media professionals to continue playing a vital role in strengthening Nigeria’s democracy.
The President’s message was delivered during the 32nd Nigeria Media Merit Award, NMMA, ceremony held at the Muson Centre, Lagos.
Represented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Muhammed Idris, President Tinubu highlighted the importance of his administration’s ongoing reforms, emphasising their potential to drive national growth and development.
The president stated that the policies are deliberate and well thought out.
The event was hosted by Dr. Dayo Duyile, Chairman of the NMMA Board of Trustees, who warmly welcomed guests and nominees.
