The Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board vaccinated 2,837 intending pilgrims for the 2021 Hajj.

Hannatu Zailani, acting chairwoman of the board divulged this to newsmen on Monday that the vaccination exercise was initiated on 6Th of April, 2021.

The State has slots for more than 4,000 intending pilgrims but only 2,837 aspiring pilgrims were vaccinated across the 23 Local Government Areas, with addition that the exercise will be completed during the week.

 She added that, the vaccination was based on directives from Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the National Hajj Commission.

In her statement, she made it clear that anyone intending to go for Hajj must be vaccinated before leaving Nigeria so as to go in line with the guide-line of the nation.

Also advised that all the intending pilgrims must act in line with the guidelines of the NCDC.
