The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a three man one-chance gang who had been terrorising unsuspecting commuters along the Oshodi-Gbagada axis of Lagos state.
The suspects, Wale Ajayi, Abideen Saka , and Oliseh Sunday were arrested by Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad at their hideout weeks after they abandoned their operational vehicle while fleeing a scene of their operation after police operatives swooped on them.
In a statement on Twitter on Tuesday, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the operational vehicle of the gang was hijacked at gunpoint sometime in February but later abandoned by the gang somewhere around the Gbagada axis of Lagos State.
According to him, the suspects have been arraigned and remanded while awaiting trial.
