DSS Cautions Against Unguarded Utterances About Kaduna Train Hostage Negotiator

The Nigeria Police Force, NPF has cautioned members of the public against nationwide violent protest being planned by some groups on this year’s June 12 Democracy Day celebration.

Force Public Relations Officer, Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi issued the warning in a statement in Abuja.

The statement also said the police will protect the rights of all citizens including those on peaceful protest but will not look on to see the rights of other citizens being violated.

In a similar vein, the Department of State Services, DSS has alerted the public over planned protests by certain persons and groups in parts of the country on June 12, which is Democracy Day.

Director, Public Relations and Strategic Communications, DSS, Peter Afunanya, who made this known in a statement in Abuja, said the protests are designed with inauspicious objectives to coincide with the Democracy Day Celebration.
