The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC has commended the Bayelsa state electorate on the peaceful conduct of today’s governorship election.
The Corps’ Assistant Commandant General, Ideba Pedro, who led a monitoring team for the election, gave the commendation in an interview with newsmen on today at Fankuku Primary Health Centre polling unit in Epie-3, Amarata, Yenegoa.
Pedro said his team from the
National Headquarters, Abuja, had gone to many polling units and report from
the situation room also indicated that the election had been peaceful.
