2021 AFCON: CAF Strike Out Tunisia’s Appeal Over Ending Ed Match Before 90 Minutes By Official

Organising Committee of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON has strike out the Tunisian Football Federation’s protest on the officiating of their match with Mali.

It was reported that the committee met on Thursday to deliberate on the Group-F match played on Wednesday which had ended 1-0 in favour of the Malians. And that after examining the protest and all the match officials’ reports, the Committee decided to discharged the Tunisian complain.

It was gathered that the Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe had stirred controversy during the match with some inexplicable decisions and that he had twice ended the match before the stipulated time, leading to comical scenes after the game.
