The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC Kaduna Sector Command says some completed section of the Kaduna–Zaria expressway has been opened to ease the flow of traffic.
FRSC’s Sector Commander, Hafiz Mohammed said the step would significantly ease the follow of traffic and avert avoidable accidents and fatalities.
Mohammed said that the development followed intense pressure from FRSC that led to series of meetings with the Federal Controller of Works in Kaduna State along with Julius Berger officials. He added that the completed sections of the road have been handed over to the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing on December 19th.
The Sector Commander also warned drivers plying the highway not to be carried away by the smoothness of the road to drive with speed.
