The Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen says the newly launched sex offenders’ register, containing the data of sexual offenders, would be given prominence next year.
The Minister was in a familiarisation visit of the National Centre for Women Development, NCWD, to inspect its facilities and Hall of Fame.
She stated that issues of sexual violence against women and girls must be brought to an end and also pledged that the register would be fully implemented next year to serve as a deterrent to others.
