The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF has demanded for an clarification from Super Eagles Coach Austin Eguavoen, on inclusion of Ogenyi Onazi on the standby list ahead the World Cup playoff with Ghana.
Onazi was named by Eguavoen on a standby list of seven players in the Eagles squad against Ghana in Cape Coast and Abuja.
A chieftain of the NFF, while reacting to Onazi call up, said the Coach will be made to clarify his choice as normal but the football house will, beyond his clarification, also probe some allegations given as reasons behind the call up.
The federation added that it is particularly concerned about the case of Onazi and will also look into some allegations on the call up.
