The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF says the Senior Female National team, Super Falcons, will on Sunday depart Nigeria for Cyprus to participate in the annual Cyprus Women’s Cup tournament, billed to commence on February 27th.

NFF Director of Communication, Ademola Olajire, who made the announcement in a statement, added that the team would depart the country through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Olajire said Head Coach, Thomas Dennerby had selected 24 players for the tournament which will also feature countries like: South Africa, Mexico, Italy, Finland, Belgium, Slovakia, Korea, Czech Republic, Thailand, Hungary and Austria.

The Super Falcons’ first match of the tournament is against Austria on February 27th.
