The FCT Minister, Nyesome Wike states reasons for his frequent visits to ongoing construction sites.
The Minister made the statement on monday 4th March 2024 when he paid an inspection visit to ongoing projects in some parts of the FCT.
Some of the projects inspected by the FCT Minister include the Jahi District, Guzape Diplomatic area and Arterial Road Northern Parkway (Shehu Musa Express Way).
In addressing newsmen The Minister said, “The visits is to go round to see the commitments made by the various contractors, whether they are going to fulfill the promises they have made”.
The Minister also indicated his satisfaction with the progress made so far by the contractors. The projects are expected to be completed by may 2024.
The FCT Minister was accompanied on the visits by former Senator representing the FCT, Senator Phillip Aduda and some Officials of the FCDA
