Three persons were killed in Eziorsu Community, Oguta Council of Imo State by an explosive described as (Unexploded) Ordinance, at a scrap dump.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Orlando Ikeokwu confirmed the incident.
He warned the public to be wary of such, advising prompt report of suspected metal Unexploded Ordinances for possible examination, evacuation and destruction.
Also the Imo State Police Commissioner, Rabiu Ladodo and the Deputy Commissioner of Police Operations, Kene Onwunemelie with a team of the squad visited the scene.
