The Centre for Africa Liberation and Socio-Economic Rights, CALSER has ascribed the quietness of the United Nations, UN and other international organisations to the endless destructive activities of ISWAP and Boko Haram in Nigeria and beyond.

The group neither said it is yet to see the U.N openly condemn activities of the terrorists nor called for action against them. It believed that such silence has given the insurgents and their State backers the confidence to commit more massacres.

The Centre, therefore suggested a global condemnation of the inhuman act, followed by strict measure by the U.N to weaken their network and end terrorism in Africa.

The group’s Coordinator, Princess Ajibola, who addressed a news conference in Abuja, said the group is disturbed that ignoring the killings committed by the terrorists have further endangered local populations.
