The National Orientation Agency, NOA has called on Nigerian students to shun all forms of social vices and uphold national core values so as to ensure moral society that would aid national development.
The Agency’s Director General, Garba Abari, made the call during the North West zone nationwide attitudinal reorientation program for students in Tertiary institutions held at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
The NOA Boss said social vices such as cultism, sex for grade, exam malpractice, drug abuse and suicide happening on campuses were alarming.
He noted that such sensitization program would help curtail the rising trend of social vices in tertiary institutions across the country.
Earlier, the NOA Director in Kaduna state, Zubair Galadima-Soba said that the agency was concerned with the social ills happening on campuses across the country and was ready to inculcate the values of the society and culture in students. He added that the attitudinal re- orientation program would be sustained and extended to other institutions of learning.
