Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has announced plans to present the 2025 budget to the Victor Oko-Jumbo-led State House of Assembly, reinforcing a partnership aimed at advancing the welfare of Rivers residents.
At the commissioning of two community town halls and the launch of a scholarship and empowerment program in Bonny Local Government Area, Fubara commended the productive relationship between the executive and legislative arms, acknowledging the Assembly’s support in quickly approving nominees and passing executive bills.
His comments were conveyed in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi.
Governor Fubara praised Speaker Oko-Jumbo for his dedication to local development through constituency projects and his support for government initiatives.
