INEC Did Not Deny Anyone The Opportunity To Get Permanent Voter Card – Official

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has said that over one hundred and sixty five thousand Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs were yet to be collected in Kogi and about forty thousand, nine hundred in Bayelsa, as at September 13th.

The Commission announced this in a progress report on PVC collection, which it started on September 2nd, ahead of November 16th governorship elections in the two states.   

The collection of PVCs will continue till September 30th in the two states.

The Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman, Rotimi Oyekanmi urged registered voters in the two states yet to collect their PVCs to do so. He also appealed to eligible voters in Bayelsa and Kogi state who have not collected their PVCs to do so before the deadline.
