Politicians have commended the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC and security operatives for conducting peaceful and orderly Presidential and National assembly elections in Kwara state.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress Soliu Mustapha, said by and large, INEC has done a good job. He also gave kudos to the security agents for maintaining peace at all the polling units in his ward.

PDP Organising Secretary in the state, Suleiman Buhari said the conduct of the elections were satisfactory, adding that INEC officials arrived at the polling units in his area on time.

He, however, said malfunctioned card readers earlier marred accreditation of voters in some polling units, but the situation was later rectified.

Buhari also commended the security agents for doing good job in maintaining peace and order during the elections.
