Leaders, top politicians and international observers have reacted to the conduct of the 2019 presidential and National Assembly elections from across the country.
Former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar urged contestants for various positions to accept the outcome in good faith.
General Abubakar who chairs the Nigeria Peace Committee thanked God that the exercise was peaceful even as he urged Nigerians to sustain the tempo. He was impressed by the turnout of voters and commended the conduct of the election by INEC officials.
Also, former President Olusegun Obasanjo after casting his votes in Abeokuta, Ogun State asked candidates in presidential and National Assembly elections to display spirit of sportsmanship by accepting outcome of the polls.
Obasanjo, however, decried late arrival of election materials at his polling unit, but described the election as orderly.
Similarly, immediate past president, Goodluck expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the election. He urged any candidate that loses election to concede defeat, as obtained in advanced countries.
