Following the rejection of the results of the Saturday presidential election, alleging irregularities, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP has summoned an emergency meeting of its legal team today.
The meeting is expected to hold in Abuja to discuss the next line of action.
The notice was sent by former Minister of Special Duties Kabir Turaki a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, who told invitees to appear in person as there will be no representation.
However, in a swift reaction, spokesman of the Buhari Campaign Organisation, Festus Keyamo, SAN, urged Nigerians to ignore the antics of the PDP and alleged that the party is plotting to stop the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC from completing the process of the February 23rd, Presidential Elections.
