Six players have been nominated for the Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Month award for March.
The players shortlisted are, Adams Olamilekan of Remo Stars, Christian Pyagbaraos Shooting Stars, Godwin Obaje, Ejike Ugochukwu of Rangers, Nenrot Silas of Plateau United and Sani Suleiman of Akwa United.
Veteran forward Obaje netted twice for the Flying Antelope in the month, while midfielder Ugochukwu was outstanding in his position which has aided Rangers to the top of the NPFL table.
Olamilekan scored two match-winning goals in two games against, while Pyagbara continued with his impressive form for Shooting Stars as he netted four goals in the month.
Sulaiman has shouldered the goal-scoring responsibility for Akwa United since his mid-season transfer to the club.
The winner of the award will be announced next week.
