CP Olatunji Rilwan Disu on Monday resumed duty as the new Commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
Addressing journalists at the Command’s headquarters, Olatunji issued a stern warning to trouble makers, saying his tenure “will be marked by a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of crime and criminality”.
Disu stated that the Command will not waver in its commitment to safeguarding the territory, ensuring that law enforcement is both effective and respectful of the rights of all citizens.
Olatunji listed enhancement of community policing initiatives, intelligence gathering, technology integration, training and development, and public engagement as five key areas of duty to be prioritized by his administration.
