The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has confiscated 4,560 kilogrammes of skunk in coordinated efforts across Lagos, Adamawa, and Osun States.

During the operation, four members of a notorious drug syndicate were apprehended, including two church officials, a female staff member of a courier company, and another woman. Their illicit activities primarily involved the trafficking of the highly dangerous opioid, fentanyl, in Delta state.

Director of Media Advocacy of the agency, Femi Babafemi, who made this known in a statement, said four members of a drug syndicate including two church officials; female staff of a courier company and another lady, involved in trafficking lethal opioid, fentanyl in Delta, were arrested.
