Nigeria’s troops of Operation Hadarin-Daji have again conducted clearance operations killing of twenty one dreaded terrorists’ kingpins in Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
A military source, said the bandits’ kingpins killed include Yellow Mai Naira and nine members of Hamisu Black who were terrorising innocent citizens in Mayasa, Birane, Yanbuki, Kwashabawa and other villages around Zurmi Local Government Area, some parts of Kaura Namoda, Shinkafi Local Government Areas and Niger republic.
Authorities confirmed that the onslaught against the recalcitrant terrorist’s will be sustained to ensure restoration of peace in Northwest and the country as a whole.
The sources also added that the troops killed another dreaded terrorist kingpin, Maikwaahara and his 11 gang members at Marak’e village of Gusau Local Government Area of the State.
The operations were led by the Commander, Joint Task Force Northwest Operation Hadarin Daji/General Officer Commanding 8-Division Nigerian Army, Major General G. M Mutkut, along with the commander of 1-brigade Nigerian Army, Gusau, Brigadier-General, S Ahmed, who is in charge of Zamfara, Kebbi states and other military operatives.
