Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, believes there’s ‘much more’ to come from Gabriel Martinelli, after the Brazilian signed a new four-and-a-half year deal with the Gunners.
The club confirmed the news this morning, with the contract set to keep the Brazilian winger at the Emirates until the summer of 2027.
His previous deal was due to expire at the end of next season, though the club did have an option to extend that for a further two years.
Martinelli has been an integral part of Mikel Arteta’s title-chasing team this season, scoring seven goals in 19 Premier League matches.
Arteta told the club’s official website that they are delighted Gabi has signed a new long-term contract, noting that they are excited to continue to develop his huge talent and look forward to seeing him perform with Arsenal in the years to come.
