In a bid to enhance public health and environmental sustainability, the Lagos The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency is collaborating with the Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency to end open defecation along the Lagos/Ibadan expressway.
A statement by the lagos Commissioner, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab said the joint media campaign particularly targets the median from OPIC Plaza to Otedola Bridge.
The initiative, he said aims to enhance public health and environmental sustainability by preventing the spread of cholera and other communicable diseases.
It is also to restore the aesthetic appeal of the vital corridor, known as a gateway to Lagos.
