Killings: Adara Indigenes Report Fresh Attacks In S/Kaduna

Adara Indigenes in Southern Kaduna have raised the alarm over killing of 20 persons by unknown gunmen, blaming the government for incessant attacks in the area.

The President of the Adara Development Association, ADA, Awemi Maisamari in a statement said bandits’ war on Adara has continued in 2020 as there were daily attacks and destructions from Monday to Thursday in a settlements of Magunguna, Idazo, Ungwan Galadima, Ungwan Guza, Etissi, Ungwan Ma’aji, Ungwan Dantata, Ungwan Araha 1 and 2, Ungwan Goshi, Ungwan Shaban, Ungwan Jibo, Ungwan Maijama’a, Ungwan Sako, Ungwan Maidoki and Ungwan Masaba.

The statement added that these are all satellite settlements of Kallah, Libere and Gefe towns, noting that as at Friday, about 20 persons were killed and many others are injured or missing.

However, the Kaduna Police Command is yet to confirm the latest attack and killings in the area.
