Governor Uba Sani, of Kaduna State, has set up a committee to review the performance of all government parastatals in the state.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Muhammad Shehu, in a statement said the decision was to ensure that government agencies operate at the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness.
Shehu added that the committee will be chaired by the Deputy Governor, Hadiza Balarabe, who will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive analysis and appraisal of all State government parastatals to assess their performance, identify areas of improvement, and make recommendations where necessary.
The Chief Press Secretary said that the committee has three weeks to submit its report. According to him, the findings will help to identify areas where government agencies can improve their service delivery and meet the needs of the citizens.
Members of the committee are the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Sani Liman; Head of Service, Habiba Shekarau, and Senior Advisor-Counsellor, Muhammad Hafiz Bayero, among others.
