Terrorists have killed nine persons and kidnapped three others in Unguwar Danko, near Dogon-Dawa village, in Birnin-Gwari Area of Kaduna State.
A source said the incident took place on Saturday afternoon when the victims were working on their farms.
State House of Assembly member-elect, representing Kakangi constituency, Yahaya Musa, who confirmed the incident, said those killed were farmers, and that those who sustained gunshot injuries were rushed to hospitals for treatment.
He added that some villagers, who were angry, confronted the gunmen, leading to some villagers sustaining gunshots injuries.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Police Command is yet to commend on the incident.
In same vein, unknown gunmen have kidnapped the Catholic Priest of Christ the King Parish, in Okigwe Local Council of Imo State, Father, Jude Maduka.
It was gathered the cleric’s abduction is the second in a few weeks in the same diocese.
