Former international, has commended the Super Eagles on their performance against former world champions Brazil.

The match played at the Singapore National Stadium on Sunday saw Joe Aribo opening scoring after 35 minutes of play.

Brazil however equalised three minutes into the second half when Casemiro fired home from close range.

Adepoju, through his Twitter handle described the performance as a sign of good things. He added that there are lots of lessons to take home against Brazil and that is very important.

In another development, Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets to tackle Sao Paulo football club of Brazil in a friendly game today.

This is part of their preparations for this year’s FIFA Under-17 World Cup finals starting in Brazil on October 26.

Eagles’ Head Coach Manu Garba announced that the friendly game will be a good test for the players, to see how they are quickly settling down to the task ahead when the global championship kicks off today
