A board member of Handball Federation of Nigeria HFN Musa Hamza, says he has confidence in the national junior female teams to lift the 2019 International Handball Federation IHF organised Challenge Trophy.

The 28 players and three officials on Thursday departed the country for the IHF tournament holding in Niamey, Niger Republic, between February 25th and March 3rd.

Hamza said that the teams, which had two weeks of intensive camping, were adequately prepared for the tournament.

He noted that the teams’ decision to arrive in Niamey in good time would help them acclimatize ahead of good performance in all its matches.
