The Kaduna State Pilgrims Agency, began training and enlightenment programme for prospective pilgrims for 2023 Hajj.
The Emir of Zazzau, Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, also inaugurated Sabon Gari Local Government pilgrims Enlightenment Hall, Gambo Sawaba Secretariat Dogarawa.
Bamalli said training and enlightenment were very necessary because they would guide prospective pilgrims on how to perform the Hajj without hitches.
He said pilgrims must show more interest on the training and be enlightened to know how to perform the Hajj.
He called on them to avoid anything that would dent their image and that of the country.
He advised them to check their passports to be sure they correspond with their other travel documents.
He tasked them to take this training and enlightenment programme very serious.
Earlier, the Executive Secretary of the agency, Yusuf Arrigasiyyu, said the programme was to make them to understand how to perform Hajj easily.
