Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, says the Federal Government is proud of its accomplishments in the Social Investment Programme.
Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu AKande, in a statement in Abuja, stated that the vice president was speaking when he received a delegation from the FCT People Living With Disabilities Community, on a courtesy visit to the Presidential Villa.
He expressed optimism that successive governments would build on the template already established by the present administration.
Osinbajo also referred to the Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities PWDs Prohibition Act 2019, saying by policy and law, the entitlements of the PWDs are already in place.
Earlier in his remarks, the spokesman of the group, Muhammad Dantani, thanked the vice president for all that he had done directly and indirectly for the PWD Community in Nigeria and particularly in the FCT.
