The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested seven suspected cattle-rustlers and recovered two-hundred-and-seventy-three livestock in Iche village, near Kasuwan-Magani, in Kajuru Local Government area of Kaduna State.
The Deputy Commissioner, Department of Finance and Administration, Kaduna Command, Onah Sunny, who announced this in news conference in Kaduna said the success recorded, was the success of Community policing.
According to Sunny, the achievement was made through community willingness to ensure safety and security of lives and property of well-meaning citizens of the state.
Sunny said the Kaduna Command received a reliable information that there were suspected rustlers trying to move rustled cattle in large numbers to a location yet to be ascertained.
The operatives said they arrested the seven suspects, who are currently assisting Police in their investigation.
