The Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force, PTF on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha who gave this assurance in Abuja at the 18th joint national briefing of the committee, said there was never a threat from the Labour.

NLC President Ayuba Waba had reportedly written a letter to President Muhammadu Buhari, cautioning of possible breakdown of law and order if the ongoing lockdown was extended, over the difficulty of the working class.

Mustapha also said the Federal Government had been progressing with the fight against the coronavirus in the country and constantly consulting with the NLC, adding that he met with Waba in Abuja earlier and he suggested ways forward in the national response efforts.
