The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya is set to meet field commanders to evaluate all ongoing operational engagements of the Nigerian Army during the first quarter COAS Conference.
Director, Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu in a statement in Abuja, said the conference was with a view to effectively project into the future by providing an interactive framework between the Army Chief and the field commanders.
According to the statement, the conference will provide a platform for the Nigerian army to appraise its performance for the year 2022.
The Army Chief stressed that it will holistically evaluate all ongoing operational engagements by the Nigerian army, with a view to effectively project into the future.
Yahaya added there will be series of briefs and presentations in the coming days which will include updates on operations, training, logistics, welfare among other topical issues.
