Former President, Athletics Federation of Nigeria, AFN Ibrahim Shehu-Gusau says the Federation will work persistently to unravel all corrupt practices in the federation.
Shehu-Gusau, who made this known in a news conference to address the situation of things happening in the federation said the measure is in keeping with the President Buhari’s commitment to accountability and transparency.
He explained that securing alternative means of funding the activities of the Federation would ease the pressure on government.
In same vein, the National Cricket Team has departed Nigeria for South Africa ahead of the 2020 Under-19 World Cup, scheduled to hold from January 17th to February 9th.
The team, made up of 18 players and two officials, were treated to a farewell reception by the Nigeria Cricket Federation, NCF in Lagos.
