Former Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr is planning legal battle with the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF over his benefit for terminating his appointment abruptly.
It would be recalled that Rohr was fired by the NFF, weeks after football fans called for his sacking over the dull performance of the Eagles.
The German Coach however said his lawyers are in contact with the NFF over his monetary compensation, noting that his contract was expected end next year.
Meanwhile, NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, had announced that Rohr was fired because indiscipline had crept into the team as well as the team’s poor performance over the last one year.
In another development, the Chairman of Mark Mentors Basketball Club Igoche Mark has officially launched the Mark ‘D’ Ball Basketball Championship in Abuja.
It was gathered that all are now set for the rejuvenated basketball tournament known as Mark ‘D’ Ball Championship for the male and female categories. 12 teams are expected to participate in women’s invitational basketball championship.
