8 Injured As Blast Hits Bus Conveying Taliban Government Employees

Eight people were reportedly injured in a roadside bomb that hit a minibus carrying Taliban employees from the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Kabul.

Kabul Police Spokesman Khalid Zadran, who confirmed the incident said there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

Following the Taliban’s return to power last year, deadly bombings often claimed by the Islamic State had become a frequent occurrence and they mostly target religious minorities and Taliban officials.

About 53 students were killed and many others wounded in a suicide attack inside an educational centre in Kabul’s Shia-Hazara neighbourhood a month ago.
