The chairman of the Kano State branch of the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, Abdurrahman Ali, says about 15, 000 medical doctors have exited Nigeria as of 2024 due to poor remuneration.
Abdurrahman made this revelation during a media conference while reflecting on issues confronting doctors in the state.
Addressing the press to mark this year’s physician’s week, Abdurrahman urged the Kano State government to come through with the agreement signed with the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, on the revised hazard allowance for health workers.
