Yuletide: FRSC Deploys 39,450 Personnel, 806 Patrol Vehicle The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC has deployed over
thirty-nine-thousand-four-hundred-and-fifty personnel, including
Special Marshals across the country for 2019 ember months’ campaigns.
The Corps Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem, who made this known
in an issued statement in Abuja, said the deployment is aimed at
ensuring safer roads during the festive periods and beyond.
He said that the Corps had also deployed eight-hundred-and
six patrol
vehicles, one-hundred-and-twenty ambulances,
two-hundred-and-four
motor bikes, and twenty-seven tow-trucks along
designated routes in
the special patrol, which commenced on December
15th to January 19th,
2020.
Kazeem explained that the deployment is due to
the commitment towards the realisation of
the Corps corporate mandate and the imperatives of making the highways safer during the yuletide.He said the Corps-Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi, has ordered that the
2019 ember month’s campaign be targeted at
enforcement on critical
offences.
