National Chairman, Youth Wing Christian Association of Nigeria YOWICAN, Belusochukwu Enwere has condemned the wanton killing of people across the country.

Enwere In a statement he signed and made available to Newsmen in Abuja, specifically condemned the killing of traditional leaders in Imo, the loss of lives and properties at the Goronyo Market in Sokoto State and the attack on the Kaduna-Abuja train line.

The statement added that this is not acceptable to Nigerians, especially the youths, no matter the tribe, religion and ethnicity especially as the traditional rulers were custodians of traditional institutions and culture.

He said Christian and Muslim youths’ across the country.

Enwere urged the Federal government to find a political solution to the insecurity in the country.

As contained in the statement, the youths want governments at all levels, traditional and religious leaders, men and women, youth as well as all and sundry to henceforth preach and practice peace, saying “Peace begins from our various families, schools, churches and mosque.”
