Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti explained why he substituted Jude Bellingham during their 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Bellingham was replaced by Luka Modric late into the second half at the Allianz Arena stadium. Despite Bellingham’s impressive season performance with 21 goals in 36 appearances, coach Ancelotti has revealed that the English man had been struggling physically since the hour mark.
Leroy Sane and Harry Kane had turned the match around for Real after Vinicius Jr. equalized for the visitors.
