Vice-President Kashim Shettima has conveyed President Bola Tinubu’s sympathy to all the victims of flood disasters across the country.
Shettima, while speaking at a Conference in Abuja, on Tuesday, revealed that he will visit Maiduguri to ascertain the level of destruction caused by the flood.
The Vice President also used the forum to commiserate with Nigerians over the flood disasters across the length and breadth of the nation.
Newsmen reports that several residents of Maiduguri, Borno, have been displaced by flood following the collapse of water channels at the Alau Dam.
The flood submerged residential quarters, roads and bridges, making many areas in the metropolis inaccessible.
