The Nigerian Navy has warned its personnel that it would not tolerate any act of misdemeanor, unprofessional conduct, or acts that “could bring the service into disrepute”.

Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas gave the warning in Abuja on Saturday while delivering his message at the end of the Nigerian Navy Second Quarter Route March 2019.

He told the personnel that as members of the Armed Forces, it was imperative for them to maintain high level of operational and combat readiness.

Ibas noted that personnel participation in the Second Quarter Route March was an opportunity for them to showcase their mental alertness as well as physical fitness.
