Vice President Yemi Osinbajo with members of the Economic Management Team, EMT met in Abuja to discuss the nine point six billion dollars judgment debt awarded against Nigeria, by a United Kingdom Court in respect of a failed gas deal with an Irish firm, Process and Industrial Developments Limited, P&ID.

The Court in the ruling of August 16th, ordered the company to seize Nigerian assets of that value for alleged contract default.

It was leant that the Federal Government had dropped the idea of negotiating with the Irish organisation in regards of the ruling.

A presidency source confirmed that the meeting was for Osinbajo to receive an update from the government lawyer and plan the next line of action.

Meanwhile, the protesters, who took to the British and Irish high commissions yesterday for reverse of the judgment, have promised to occupy the buildings for one week.
