No Nigerian FIFA-badged referee made the total list of fifty seven selected for the 2019 FIFA Under-17 World Cup which kicks off from October 6th to November 17th in Brazil.

About nine officials were picked in Africa by the world football governing body with three attached for duty as Centre Referees, and six as Assistant Referees, and none as Video Assistant Referees.

The three African officials that will function as center referees include; Gomes Victor from Republic of South Africa, Jiyed Redouane from Morocco, and Mohamed Amin from Egypt among others.

Nigeria has FIFA badged referees for international tournament but none has been engaged in any recent time.
