A student of the Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has been shot dead.
The student was shot dead in front of the college by the security, as they were protesting against the hike of school fees.
The deceased had joined his colleagues, who were protesting over the increase, when security operatives made the attempt to disperse them forcefully.
One of the protesters, who said they came out to protest over the increment of school fees in the state-owned institution when they met security operatives outside the college, denying them their fundamental human rights of protesting and start to shoot at them.
